SIPPO has supported National Tourism Agency to organize a workshop aiming to improve the performance of companies during exhibition in WTM London fair taking place in November.
Matthias Leisinger, SIPPO consultant, shared insights of the British tourism market, tour operators, customer expectations and how to improve the effectiveness of Matchmaking activities through effective use of promotional tools provided by the fair.
In addition he provided guidelines for an effective trade fair participation using the best practices of advanced marketing techniques to improve targeting, product development and channels selection to access this important market.
Sustainable and responsible tourism topics were elaborated during the last workshop session as a growing trend in tourism leading to improved communities’ welfare, proactive role of tour operators in their communities, responsible attractive tourism products and nevertheless improvement of business profitability itself.
Macedonian Tourism Promotion Agency representative attended this workshop and shared her experiences and best practices with Albanian colleagues and tour operators.
