Eight manufacturers from Viet Nam participated in the Country Pavilion at Munich Apparel Source 2019

The Munich Apparel Source 2019 Trade Fair took place from 3 to 5 September 2019. A Vietnam Country Pavilion was organised by the Vietnam Industry Agency – Ministry of Industry and Commerce (VIA – MOIT) and the Swiss Import Promotion Programme (SIPPO). The Vietnam Chamber of Commerce - HoChiMinh City participated as observer.

Eight manufacturers from Viet Nam participated in the Country Pavilion at Munich Apparel Source 2019

The Munich Apparel Source 2019 Trade Fair took place from 3 to 5 September 2019. A Vietnam Country Pavilion was organised by the Vietnam Industry Agency – Ministry of Industry and Commerce (VIA – MOIT) and the Swiss Import Promotion Programme (SIPPO). The Vietnam Chamber of Commerce - HoChiMinh City participated as observer. More than 60 international buyers visited the Pavilion, including well-known brands such as Hugo Boss, Alders, etc…

Eight Vietnamese companies had received technical support from SIPPO experts and partners to prepare their own collections. They were garment makers Kana,Tex-Giang, Phuong Dong, HA fashion, Viet Sun, Thai Son, APIC, Viet Thanh. Those companies covered a wide variety of products including ladies' wear, work wear, suits, knitwear, etc...They successfully presented their products in the well-designed Vietnam Pavilion and learned new products requirements from EU buyers. With guidance from SIPPO experts, they demonstrated their capacity to add value to Vietnamese textile and apparel products. Their good performance and the Country Pavilion generated a good international image for Vietnam.

 

At the Fair, the Vietnam Industry Agency delivered a country presentation, which provided international buyers with more insights into the EU - Vietnam Free Trade Agreement, signed in June 2019, and gave them an opportunity to better prepare themselves.
